Learn How to Shoot Like a Pro by a Pro!
Group and one-on-one ice hockey photography lessons taught by Kate Frese
Have a dream of being a pro sports photographer? Have experience shooting sports, but want to learn ways that you can improve your shooting, editing, and/or workflow? You've come to the right place!
Kate Frese is a professional sports photographer most known for her coverage of the Philadelphia Flyers. She will be conducting ice hockey photography lessons at various ice rinks in the Philadelphia area. Don't live in Philly or can't get there? She offers one-on-one remote lessons, too!
What You'll Learn
Group classes of 5-10 people will be taught basic sports photography skills while photographing an actual ice hockey game. You'll learn how to set up your camera, some basic tips on positioning, player tracking, and other skills to cover a hockey game. Those interested in learning digital workflow and/or how to edit their photos can sign-up for one-on-one remote lessons for an additional price.
These types of lessons are a lot more in depth and tailored to your specific needs. You will cover a game with Kate by your side showing you the ropes. After the game, you and Kate will sit down to go over digital workflow and editing. Remote lessons are also available with this option!
*must provide own gear for all types of lessons; students ages 15-18 must have parent's written permission
What Else You'll Get
All students will receive free swag from sponsors for taking lessons with Kate. In addition, your work will be featured on Kate's social media pages with credit. Some photographs may be featured on the rink's website!
